A lovely and very appealing sculpture of a child in a cloak. The face of the child is carved from ivory and the cloak is gilded. It has as Art Nouveau feel.

Signed.

Antoine Bofill was a Spanish artist and a member of the animalier movement of the 19th Century. Best known for his small decorative bronze sculptures, Bofill often focused on Neoclassical themes, historical scenes and female nudes and animals.
