A 19th century ambrotype of a seated lady, housed in its original wood frame.

There is a small area of damage to the plate (please see photographs), but otherwise remains good with no fading to the plate. The frame shows some wear commensurate with age, , particularly to the top edge/corners, but also remains in a good condition overall.
