A Stunning and unusual antique 15ct gold pendant set with the rarest of garnets: demantoid garnets, in their glorious shade of vivid green with pretty seed pearls. The pendant shape is curved diamond with a criss-cross centre housing the four green garnets and four seed pearls. It hangs from a flexible bale. On the back of the pendant are the hallmarks for Chester, 15ct gold , circa 1918. There is some evidence on the back of the pendant that it has been converted from a brooch. The pendant hangs on a new 9ct gold 20 inch chain.
A wonderful gift for a lover of the unusual and rare antique jewellery and in fabulous condition.
