Lloyd-Jones was a member and exhibitor at the Ipswich Art Club 1878-1895 and may have had a 'holiday home' in the county and in 1881 exhibited from Beauchamp House, Wimborne Minster, thirteen pictures including an oil 'Heigh-Ho! the Holly' and watercolours 'Cold Hill Firs', 'Countisbury in a Fog' and 'Ivybridge', in 1882 he had eleven pictures on display, in 1883 seven, two oils 'Lake Edwa' and 'Returning from School' and five watercolour including 'Wild Wales, and in 1884 four oils 'Scene on the Stour, Dorset', 'Autumn Afternoon', 'Two for Joy' and 'Scene on the Dart'.
He also seems to have been a bit of an inventor as in January 1885 he applied for patent 13245 'for improvements in lids for boxes, cases, barrels or baskets, on in and connected with the means of fastening the same'. He was buried at St James the Less, Pangboourne, Berkshire on 23 February 1897, aged 50.
