A very good quality unusual English solid sterling silver and cut glass bottle. The silver gilt spoon is hallmarked for Sheffield 1893 with the makers marks being R&B. It would have been used for cayenne pepper, snuff, or laudanum. The silver is free from splits repairs and dings. The glass is free from cracks chips and repairs. It measures 3.5 inches (9cms) tall and weighs 46 grams (glass and spoon). A beautiful and unusual piece.
