An early 20th century toleware globular hanging oil lamp with a brass paraffin burner by Sherwood of Birmingham.

The lamp boasts a pierced chimney above a framed glass globular body and a circular foot. The glass is original and handblown, with a wonderful wave and visible bubbles.

A very attractive piece.
