A superb late Victorian oil on canvas by well regarded artist William Mellor sat in the original timber gilt frame C.1900. A well painted scene of fast running water set within a rocky woodland, on a late summers afternoon, with excellent colour and detail. Signed bottom right by the artist and inscribed to the rear. Sat in the original timber gilt frame with swept plaster work decoration. Presented in immaculate condition. Measures over all 37" wide x 26" high x 3" deep.

Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.
