Victorian Striking Carriage Clock with Case

A quality Victorian period brass cased 8 day carriage clock with repeating and striking movement sat in the original traveling case C.1880. Oval bevelled edge glass to the top with moulded edge and brass hinged carrying handle. Rounded edge frame and base with combined foot. Original bevelled edge glasses to all sides. White porcelain dial with Roman numerals to the 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement, striking on the hour and half hour. Repeater button to the top. Comes with the original traveling case and winding key. Excellent condition with a deep shine and perfect dial full working order. Clock measures 5.5" high x 3.25" deep x 3.75" wide. 7" high with handle in the upright position.
