Circle of John Crome (1768-1817) Oil on Panel. 18th Century.

Description

Norwich School oil on board depicting a figure and cattle watering. Housed in a gilt frame the painting is in very good condition.

The painting is not signed so we have to refer to the artist as "Follower of John Crome but It may well be an original.

John Crome referred to himself as "Old John" to distinguish himself from his son who was also an artist.

There are slight losses to the frame (which is original) but hardly noticeable.

The actual painting measures 25cm X 20cm

Framed it measures 41cm X 35cm

Circa 1790
