Cut Glass Table Jar with Silver and Tortoise Shell Top

A George V period tortoise shell and silver topped table jar with faceted cut crystal base, hallmarked London 1915. Unusual thick solid tortoise shell top with unusual tones of grey to the shell and a deep shine. Silver panel to the centre and polished rim to the edge. Fits firmly to the original faceted cut crystal base, bears the makers mark for Douglas Clock & Co, immaculate condition. Measures 1.75" high x 3.25" diameter.
