Antique silver 1901 “The Times” pocket watch from Mappin & Webb.The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed by the original retailer of the watch, Mappin & Webb, and it also has the name “The Times”, probably a name given by Mappin & Webb. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two hinged case backs for Chester 1901. The case is in lovely condition, just one small “ding” to the edge of the back.The glass lens is in very nice condition.The single sunk dial is signed Mappin & Webb, London. It is in lovely condition and has pin-set blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.The watch comes in a new presentation box.ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).Please contact us for international shipping prices.
