A stunning double gourde vase from the De Dubbelde Schenkkan (Double Jug Factory) factory with the mark of Louis Victor.
The decoration has a middle eastern theme with flowers in stylised frames and a row of cockerels through the centre. It''s also unusual in its octagonal form.
The piece is marked to the base with LV the mark of Louis Victor who was the owner ofDe Dubbelde Schenkkan (Double Jug Factory) factory 1688-1715.
The vase is in good condition. Tin glaze always has areas of glaze flaking.
