I am listing a small collection of Indian Colonial Georgian silver flatware by unusual makers with a Scottish connection. All in good collectors condition with clear hallmarks.
An impressive rare hefty Indian Colonial silver basting spoon, probably late Georgian, by Middleton & Company of Calcutta who were active between 1824 and 1836, in the collectable smart Fiddle Shell & Thread pattern with shoulders.
Condition: Fab weight and quality with no damage or repair, no inscriptions or erasure, good definition to the shell, good hallmark, just a little age-related wear to the front edge of the bowl. Professionally polished and ready to be used.
