Description:
A brass rim measure of 1 quart Imperial capacity, the measure has a cylindrical body with ovolo banding just above the lower handle terminal. The measure has verification marks stamped either side of the handle. There is an unreadable name inscribed to the front. The inside of the base is clearly marked with the mark of George Grimes of London. Brass rim measures are considered to have been used to measure shell fish and dry produce.

Cr VR 28 Middlesex / London.
Condition:
Excellent condition with a polished silver grey finish and some small traces of light oxide.
Repairs: There are no repairs that I could detect.
