A lovely silver card case by Nathaniel Mills (1746-1843).

Bright cur engraved in the Lily of the Valley design and a vacant cartouche.

Beautifully made and in very good condition with no dents or scratches.

Hallmarks for Birmingham 1853.

Silver pieces produced by Nathaniel Mills & Sons are exhibited in the Birmingham Assay Office at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and are sought after by individual collectors. Among the most popular are Nathaniel Mills castle top vinaigrettes and visiting card cases.
