An early 19th Century Irish peat bucket in oak with a fixed handle.

It is coopered with iron strips extending to the handle which is re-inforced in the same way.

It has a beautiful patina and is very heavy.

Circa 1820

It measures 62cm from top of handle to base and the circumference at the rim measures 33cm
