Pair of early C19th French Charles X period ormolu bronze candelabras.
 
Finely-cast pair of gilded bronze candelabras of Empire design , raised on concave-sided tripartite bases with compressed lion’s paw feet supports .
 
The removable 4-branch candelabra tops with intricately-cast arms , all complete with the original sconces and bobeches. The fluted stems with crisp-cast details and Empire-inspired designs motifs .
 
Can be used as either elegant single candlesticks or as impressive 4-candle candelabras.
 
In excellent original condition , with a mellow patination to the gilded bronze .
 
Stylish and well-proportioned candelabras for use either perhaps on a mantelpiece or to add glamour and sophistication to a dining table setting.
