Jane Short Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
A coat of arms on one side shows the young king surrounded by a lion and a unicorn.
A lion forms the handle.

The jug was made in a limited edition of 150 of which this is number 104.
The inscription verso states that 1500 were produced but only 150 were made as production ceased after the abdication statement.
The piece plays "God Save The King" when lifted. (see video)
The original certificate accompanies the piece.
