Superb Antique Victorian Hall Lantern

A superb original Victorian brass framed hall lantern with original glass. C.1880. Decorative turned brass columns to the corners supporting the lantern frame, swept decorative four arm hanging frame to the top. Hanging loop to support the hanging chain and ceiling fitting. Includes the original hanging tube that can be used instead of the chain (not shown) Original bevelled edge glass panels with star cut decoration to the centres. Originally a gas fitting, now converted to electric. Fully restored and lacquered frame, rewired ready for use. Measures 31" to top of fitting ( includes 1m of wire to hang lower on chain if required) 13" x 13" square at widest point.
