Description

This very large and stunning Art Deco sculpture is by French artist Lucien Gibert. (1904-1988)

It depicts a mother and child modelled in spelter and set on a large marble plinth.

The plinth is constructed from different pieces of marble to form a pattern and the ends are stepped.

The woman's dress is cold painted and the pattern is intricately gilded.

It is signed and in excellent condition.

It weighs 11kgs and measures 66cm long, 13cm wide and 37cm tall.
