Underglaze decorated with trees, each piece bearing a label for Christies "The Nanking Cargo".
These pieces were recovered from a ship that sunk during the 1700's. belonging to The Dutch East India company. The cargo was discovered in 20th century and brought to the surface. It was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in May 1986.
