A beautiful 19th century bronze bust of a young women by Joseph -Charles ‘de’ blezer French 1868-1881, she is wearing a low cut blouse with a flower in the centre , also a flower in her hair .

J C de blezer was born in Ghent Belgium. He studied at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris under renowned sculptor jean Baptiste clesinger. De blezers best known work was his 1870 bust of American abolishionist John Brown now in the collection of Oberlin college.Good condition for its age
