Jane Short Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
They are circa 1880 and most probably Sheffield plate.
There is no plate loss at all.
There is a small dent on the base but it's hardly noticeable.
Overall a lovely example of Victorian candlesticks and in very good condition for their age.
