Large Military Campaign Chest in Leather Covered Camphor Wood

Description

Regency period military chest in leather covered Camphor wood. It is brass bound and studded.

It would have been used in campaigns hence the use of camphor wood which would have kept insects at bay.

It is in its original condition and is in good condition considering its age and use.

The is a small brass loss on the side which can be seen in the relevant photo, and there are a couple of brass studs missing.

However, the top and front look very good and the overall look is gorgeous.
