Art Deco 2.06 Carat Old Cut Diamond Engagement Ring, Circa 1920

Description

A jaw droppingly stunning Art Deco engagement ring. The old European cut diamond in the centre – graded by IGI as E colour, SI2 clarity – is almost impossibly white, bright and lively. The stone is secured in magnificent platinum mount; four split claws – at compass points – lead to a sweeping and detailing gallery, conforming to a slim, knife edge shank adorned with six (three each side) eight-cut diamonds at the shoulders. Truly exceptional.

Accompanied by a diamond report from IGI (#395978805).

Cut – Old European cut with eight-cuts in the shoulders.

Colour – E (F to G in the shoulders).

Clarity – SI2 (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders). The centre is clean to the naked eye.

Carat – 2.06 (with a further estimated 0.10 carat in the shoulders).

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The diamond is 7.78 x 7.98mm. Sits 6.7mm from the finger.

Size – K (UK) or 5 1/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
