Miniature portrait of a young lady wearing a period costume.

Watercolour on ivory.

Signed "Gabret" on the right hand side.

The white metal frame is probably silver and originating in Continental Europe.

The frame is set with marcasite and gemstones.

A very pretty piece in perfect condition which would have originated around 1900.

The frame measures 8.5 cm X 6.5 cm.
