Good Regency /Empire ''x'' frame stool, decorated with parcel gilt and dark green to simulate bronze; the rectangular padded buttoned seat upholstered in pink silk on the shallow seat frame, with rounded corners and gilt mouldings top and bottom. Raised on the shapely ''x'' frame supports with bold carved giltwood acanthus leaf decoration with a central roundel, united by a turned central stretcher. The legs with carved giltwood acanthus feet terminating in a small ball foot.
The underside of the seat frame stamped 20065.
The upholstery has some minor marks, and can be upholstered to clients requirements.
