Fine Antique West Persian Rug 2.05m X 1.32m (6'9" X 4'3")

Description

Probably woven by the famous Fereghan weavers of West Persia in the last quarter of the 19th century, this rug has a very limited palette, combining the use of a pretty terracotta for the background with details drawn in subtle greens, indigo and pale blues. It has a very harmonious appearance, the Herati design is intricate and crisply drawn. Note the very pretty corner elements in green and terracotta. The texture of the rug is soft. Professionally cleaned and ready for immediate use. Suitable for all settings.
