Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Popularised in the early 20th century, folding travel clocks were designed to protect delicate watch movements during transport while serving as portable timepieces for nightstands and desks when opened.

These timepieces were commonly constructed from sterling silver or nickel-plated metal cases, featuring internal brass movement bezels, glass crystals, and enamel dials with Arabic numerals.

Authentic examples feature hallmarked silver cases, maker marks from established silversmiths, Swiss mechanical movements, and era-appropriate dial markings such as 8-day power reserve indications.

A folding travel clock functions effectively on a bedside table, dressing table, or executive office desk, adding a classic metallic accent to contemporary decor.

Wipe the outer silver casing with a soft microfibre cloth to remove oils, polish metal surfaces sparingly with non-abrasive silver cleaner, and avoid overwinding the mechanical Swiss movement.
