Provenance: The work was sold as part of a private collection in Cornwall, ex estate of Alethea Garstin, David Lay, Penzance, 2010. The drawing was allegedly taken from a sketchbook originally owned by Alfred Munnings. By repute the sketchbook was then passed onto Alethea Garstin by her father Norman Garstin.
