Description

A finely cast French gilt bronze and patinated bronze eight day mantle clock.

Striking the hours and half hours on a bell, with silk suspension.

The silvered and engine turned dial with moon hands, presented with a lady with a fan sitting on a tree trunk with a basket of flowers.

The gilt bronze base very intricately cast with cornucopia feet and rococo foliate and matted ground.

Unusual but effective use of ormolu and patinated bronze and its depth is a mere 9cm which means it will fit on most mantle pieces !

The clock has been full overhauled and is guaranteed for a year
