An attractive Chinese guan glazed Vase, c. 1880. The globular vase having an everted rim, and lightly moulded with the Eight Horses of Mu Wang. The frolicking horses decorated in underglaze blue, around an inset ‘bronzed’ rim. Having twin lion dog and ring handles.
Apochryphal reign mark to the base.
Height - 22.3 cm, 8 3/4”.
Condition - Perfect. No damage. No restoration.
