Georgian (George III, C1800) mahogany housekeeper's cupboard secretaire bookcase chest. Sometimes known as an estate cupboard. A wonderful rare quality period piece.

Solid and strong, with no loose joints. Full of age, character and charm.

Would look great in the right location! No woodworm. Key to cupboard door only. Later patinated leather writing surface. The drawers slide freely.

Overall maximum dimensions: 117.5cm wide, 56cm deep (78cm deep with the writing surface down), 185cm high (83cm high base plus 102cm high top).
