Description

A superb late 18th century cuban mahogany five drawer collectors cabinet with very versatile deep drawers.

Beautifully made in this fine and rare timber with all the original glass which has a beautiful 'bow' to it which I have tried to show in one of the images.

All original brass furniture which has unblemished period lacquer.

Each drawer has a drop in pocket for a data or specific card to the top of the drawer just below the frame.

Each drawer has a closely fitting glazed top to both protect and display the contents. A usable depth of just over four inches to the glass makes this cabinet highly desirable for many different collections.

Height. 30.75 inches.

Width. 19 inches.

Front to back. 25.5 inches.

In excellent condition with original working lock and key and standing on four turned mahogany feet.

Deep long drawers are seldom found in this genre.

All questions welcome and delivery can be arranged although we encourage buyers to visit our appointment only showrooms and experience this dramatic and beautiful part of the north devon coast.
