Description

A wonderful combination, this exquisite and highly decorative piece of hand - blown Victorian glass sits in a simple and very elegant silver plated stand; allowing the glass to be the standout element.

The stand stands on it's original three ball feet and the glass fits perfectly. Hand blown with a polished pontil mark on the underside where the glass would have been cut after blowing, the colour is magnificent and highly sought-after. The fluted dish is also decorated with a gold frill running around the centre.

Superb condition dating to the Victorian era, around 1860. The overall size measures 8" wide x 6" x 7 1/2" tall. Once the dish is removed, the glass measures 6" in diameter x 3" tall.

Perfect for Chocolates, preserves or even Pot-Pourri! A versatile piece to use or simply admire.
