Fine George III Longcase Clock By J.Butler, Bolton

Sn3330 Quality Georgian longcase clock, having enamel dial signed J.A.S Butler, Bolton with subsidiary seconds dial, lunar calendar, painted with pastoral landscape with figure, fruit and spandrels, and moon phase, 8-day movement with anchor escapement rack, striking on a bell, the case with swan neck pediment, brass finials, flanked by fluted columns, the trunk having flamed mahogany shaped door flanked by fluted quarter columns, all standing on original ogee feet. This fine grandfather clock retains its original finish, colour and patina. c1780
 
The movement has been cleaned and serviced by a horologist and it is guaranteed for 12 months (UK mainland).
