An outstanding mid georgian 8 day longcase clock made by david collier of gately(cheshire).working 1750-62.superb fruitwood inlaid oak case with burr walnut quarter columns repeated to the moulded cornice hood.decorative laquered panel to the top.fine engraved brass and silvered dial with a peeny moon to the centre.rare world date calendar ring to the surround.arched date aperture to the middle.small proportions stands 80"high.fully overhauled movement.
