A superb mid georgian oak cased 'cottage' longcase clock made by well regarded maker,jonas barber of winster.brass dial with date aperture and trademark pigs tail to the 5.engraved centre and decorative spandrels to the corners.srtikes on a bell to the hour.superb case with moulded top cornice and canted sides to the shaped door case.stands on bracket feet.numbered 788 to the movement.c.1767.full working order.stands 76"high.

Jonas barber of winster(windermere) was one of the few clockmakers who numbered his clocks.some of these are listed in b.w.cave-browne-cave's clock book with detailed decsriptions.his clocks are very sought after and rarely come onto the market.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.
