This is a very fine and exquisite example of a ladies wristwatch made by the world renowned premier Swiss maker Girard-Perregaux.It has a solid 18ct gold case and beautiful decorative lugs and this is complimented by link designed bracelet which simply glides around the wrist. The bracelet is also made of 18ct gold and fits a maximum wrist size of 6.75 inches but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller, the case measures 15mm in diameter not including the crown.It is quite stunning the dial is in perfect unmarked condition. A new glass has been fitted and the watch case professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.The 17 jewel manual winding gold plated movement is an absolute gem, sparkling clean and in like new condition, this is a movement from the golden age of Swiss watchmaking.As you would expect from Girard-Perregaux the watch is fully marked on the dial and movement.Girard-Perregaux are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift. This watch has been fully and professionally overhauled by the respected watch specialist Alan Williams FBHI, the process is highly detailed and meticulous.The watch is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under a microscope for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers original parts. every part is then thoroughly cleaned in a 3 stage ultrasonic cleaning process.The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturer approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The watch movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping.
