This is a very attractive glass-lined, solid sterling silver vase. Hallmarked on the front of the base for Chester 1899. The maker''s mark is slightly rubbed, but is still discernibly that for James Deakin & Sons (John & William F Deakin).
The repousee work on the vase is lovely. The top and base have a pie crust finish. The green glass liner is in perfect condition, as is the silver work. There is an empty cartouche on the front.
The base of the vase is weighted and is finished with a felt cover.
