This is an unusual, very decorative sunburst design clock with a good quality French movement by the renowned company Japy Freres dating from around 1910. The carved gilt wood sun is in the form of multi-rays surrounding the central white enamelled dial. The clock has a recently serviced 8 day movement which is in excellent order, and its original winding key.
