Description

This rosewood wheel barometer with 'bow front' glazed thermometer box has been sensitively restored in our own workshops.

The ten inch dial is well engraved and shows the prince of wales' feathers as the centre cartouche.the thermometer box has a bowed glass and a long drop thermometer and the set key is polished bone. The instrument is very much in the style of messrs negretti and zambra of the period.

The instrument works and reads accurately and is aesthetically pleasing and well proportioned.

All questions are welcome and we are happy to deliver and set up the barometer in your chosen position.
