Serpentine front seats with Vitruvian scroll ('running dog') carving to seat rails. Shell carving to oval 'cameo' backs , with leaf carving to arms and frames. Fluted and carved legs , with carved stop-fluted blocks.

The quality mahogany frames have achieved a great rich colour and patination.
No rips to hide with good close-nail upholstery and of strong ,robust construction with no damage.
Well-executed copies of important C18th period mahogany library chairs.
