Fabulous William IV Novelty Tea Caddy Sideboard

This is a really super quality novelty tea caddy in the form of a William iv period flame mahogany pedestal sideboard , the lockable hinged top lifts to reveal a mixing bowl of the period , each pedestal top houses a later locking pin which when lifted allows for the zinc lined tea cannisters to slide out , the top is the most gorgeous flame mahogany surmounted by a carved shaped mahogany upstand , the top locks down using its original side fitted lock and key ,the doors are panelled and the false drawers are moulded exactly as the full size model would have been ,the cannisters are mahogany lined and dovetailed , a great apprentice piece of furniture which doubles as a tea caddy .
 
The condition is lovely ,considering its age you would not find a cleaner example , the timbers are gorgeous !!
