Hussey's Mahogany Plate Bucket, C.1860

Description

A mahogany plate bucket by Hussey's, c.1860.

The 'Hussey's Registered Plate Carrier' was registered in 1859 and boats the distinctive brass rope twist and white glass handle. Areas of wear and historic repair commensurate with age. The handle remains firm.

Remains fully functional for storing plates and/or a decorative wine cooler sleeve and carrier.
