A carved alabaster parrot and cockatoo, c.1920.

These are unusually realistic examples. Life size proportions, glass eyes and exceptional attention to detail throughout. Some small nibbles to the bases and historic damage/repair to the crest of the cockatoo, but overall the pair display extremely well indeed.
