The Jewellery Warehouse has dated this Vintage Diamond Cluster Ring to a period later than 1960.

And if you grew up in the UK, you may spot the resemblance immediately: it looks rather like a Walnut Whip chocolate! The beautifully textured gold rises and sweeps around the central diamond cluster in sculptural, flowing ridges, creating that unmistakable whirled appearance.

At the centre sits a sparkling cluster of round brilliant-cut diamonds with an impressive total diamond weight of 1.20ct. Their bright white sparkle provides a fabulous contrast against the rich warmth of the yellow gold.

The ring has a wonderfully substantial feel, weighing 11.3 grams, while the deeply textured finish gives the gold an almost organic quality. Viewed from every angle, the sweeping lines continue around the shoulders, making this a ring that is just as interesting from the side as it is from above.

Dating from 1970, it captures the bold, individualistic jewellery design of the period beautifully. It would make a fabulous vintage statement ring, cocktail ring or an exceptionally distinctive alternative to a conventional diamond ring.

This pre-owned vintage ring has been carefully cleaned and polished and is presented in excellent condition, ready to be worn, treasured and admired once more.
