Small 18th.c. Oak Dresser Base C.1720

Description

Delightful little early 18th.c. oak two drawer dresser base c.1720. Just 47" wide, very unusual in such a small size. Single piece top with a deep thumb moulded edge and with an applied moulding to the underside. Two drawers with moulded drawer fronts and brass drop handles with shaped and pierced back plates. Elm drawer sides. Raised on unusual turned front legs with turned collars top and bottom and original block feet. Panelled sides with the same moulding as the drawer fronts. Great rustic character with some old wear. Generally very good condition and excellent colour. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
