The Real Wood Furniture Company has dated this Oak Lancashire Dresser Base to the 19th Century.
Beyond this there is a wide band of yew veneer with boxwood stringing underneath the oak top, featuring satinwood ‘shell’ inlays and the cupboard doors are mahogany veneered with satinwood inlays. The dresser is raised on ogee bracket feet. Handles are period style replacements.
