Puckerings has dated this Silver Sovereign Vesta Case to the Edwardian era.

The Vesta's sprung hinge is in excellent working order and of course has the strike to the outside.
The Sovereign case is opened by pressing the small little button at the end of the ball finial, and just snaps back shut.

Fully hallmarked in numerous places for Birmingham 1902, Edwardian in era, together with the makers initials hard to make out due to it's location on the curve.
Excellent condition and measuring 3 1/4" long (including ring) x 1 1/4" wide. Weighing 40.5 Grams / 1.3 Troy Ounces.
